1. Failing to Plan Means we Plan to Fail
This is a famous old adage and it couldn't be more true. We have all been there! Showing up at the grocery store without a list makes us buy so much more than we planned and often forgetting the very things that we needed.
2. Forgetting to Check the Sales
If I had known that cereal was at a steep discount I totally would have bought even more. Ugh more money wasted and down the drain...
3. Shopping During Peak Times
Who doesn't get frustrated trying to find parking during busy shopping times. Then there are the long lines and no cashier to be found. Seems like there are a hundred people in the same aisle as you all blocking the teddy grahams! It's best to never go shopping between 3pm-7pm when everyone has their kids in tow, or getting off work to grab dinner that they forgot to plan for.
Although these suggestions will never convince any of us to get excited at the prospects of grocery shopping, these few tips should help us survive better.
